Throughout the season, the NY Strangers proudly host and compete in some of the most anticipated tournaments in 9-Man — including the NY Mini Mini, the NY Mini, and this year’s NACIVT. These events bring teams together from across the country, building community and honoring our roots in Chinatown NYC.

New York Mini Mini

The Mini Mini kicks off our season and is focused on development. It gives new players, younger athletes, and up-and-coming teams a chance to get game experience in a low-stakes, high-energy setting.

COMING SUMMER 2025

New York Mini

Our flagship tournament—and the largest 9-Man mini tournament on the circuit—brings over 80 men’s and women’s teams to Chinatown NYC each summer. It’s a celebration of community, culture, and fierce competition in the heart of Seward Park.

NACIVT

Held every Labor Day weekend, NACIVT (North American Chinese Invitational Volleyball Tournament) is the most prestigious tournament in the 9-Man circuit. Teams from across North America gather to compete under culturally specific eligibility rules. In 2025, we’re proud to be hosting NACIVT in New York City.
