Kick off Halloween early with a co-ed 6s volleyball tournament hosted by the NY Strangers! Proceeds benefit NY Strangers Youth Programs, empowering young athletes through sports and mentorship.

All teams must play in matching/coordinated costumes (think Minions, Mario Kart, Disney characters, Power Rangers, etc.).
Teams will vote for Best Costume at the end of pool play — winners get a shoutout on the NY Strangers’ Instagram!

When:
📅 Saturday, October 25, 2025
🕒 3:00 PM – 9:00 PM

• 3:05 PM — Check-In
• 3:15 PM — First Serve (All teams must be on-site)

📋 Tournament Format

• Roster: Max 8 players (minimum 2 women on the court at all times)

• BYOB: Bring Your Own Ball

• Net Height: Men’s height

Pool Play (8 Teams → 2 Pools of 4)

• Rally scoring

• 1 set to 25 (cap at 28)

• 3 minutes shared warm-up (BYOB)

• Schedule released 12 hours before start

⚠️ Delay Penalty: 5 points deducted for every 3 minutes late after warm-up. Extended delays may result in forfeiture (TD discretion).

Playoffs

• Top 2 teams per pool advance

• Tie-breakers: Sets Won → Head-to-Head → Point Differential → Overall Points → Coin Flip

• Semis: Best of 1 set to 21

• Finals: Best of 3 (21–21–15)

• Team Fee: $270 (due upon registration to secure spot)
